Kansas Women in Literature Published in 1915, this book contains short sketches of many Kansas women writers and their works. In addition to the sketches, there are also mentions of many other Kansas women in literature. Club Women of New York Directory of women in New York Women's Clubs. Published in 1906, the directory contains thousands of women's names. (In Progress) Early Female Physicians The book, " Daughters of America or Women of the Century" by Phebe A. Hanaford published in 1883 contained the sketches of several early women physicians. Women of Stanislaus County California The book, " History of Stanislaus County California with Biographical Sketches of The Leading Men and Women of the County by George H. Tinkham, published in 1921 contained the biographies of many women of the day
