Almira Clementina WILCOX 18 March 1810 "Logan County, Kentucky" Robert Peyton Harrison 26 April 1827 "Kentucky, Missouri" "Almira Clementina WILCOX was the daughter of Josiah and Eleanor WILCOX. Josiah and Eleanor had the following children: Charles Grandison Wilcox, Nathan Miles Wilcox, Amanda Malvina Wilcox, Emily Angelina Wilcox, and Almira Clementia Wilcox.

Almira married Robert Peyton HARRISON, born in Virgina, son of Peyton Randolph HARRISON and Elizabeth Mease BARCLAY. This line of Harrisons is not only related to the two President Harrisons (William Henry Harrison and Benjamin Harrison), but also to Thomas Jefferson.

I have a large amount of genealogical information on both the HARRISON and BARCLAY lines.

Robert and Almira HARRISON married in Kentucky, then moved to Missouri. I know of two daughters born there, Eleanor Ann ""Nancy"" HARRISON, born 4 June 1834, in White Cottage, Washington, Franklin County, Missouri, and my ggggrandmother, Mary Elizabeth HARRISON, born 4 May 1832, in Missouri.
Information in the will of Almira's stepfather, William L. SANDS, says there is at least one other child, Joseph Harrison.

The information I have states that Almira HARRISON died in Salubria Springs, Kentucky, on 18 August 1847, but I can't find it on the map or by Google search.

Robert P. HARRISON and his daughters Eleanor Ann and Mary Elizabeth, moved from Kentucky to Texas, to Washington County, Texas, in 1851 then to Fayette County, Texas, in 1852. Eleanor Ann married the Rev. Valentine Harlan ILEY om 1853 in LaGrange, Fayette Co., Texas, and Mary Elizabeth married Jeffrey Barksdale HILL (son of Asa HILL and Elizabeth BARKSDALE) in Columbus, Texas in either 1852 or 1856.

I am looking for the grave for Almira WIlcox HARRISON, and names and birthdates for her children. " Christine R. Czarnecki czarnecki@sbcglobal.net
